This thing happens yesterday, 3/10/08...
Hello everybody, I am yvonne from zealot 4 and I'm here to share my testimony about how God spoke to me. For your information, my walk with God has slacken this few days, cos of some stuff that i am going through. I skip doing Quiet Time, I didnt pray. Somehow have given up on God but God has not given up on me. He is really very mercyful enough to forgive me. The following situations, will tell you why. This morning I received a call from an agency. They helps us to find jobs. For a little background of it. I went to 2 agency to find permanent jobs. They call me to tell me the information of other company which is their so called clients. If the company which needs staff, they will ask the agency to help them find also. So the person in charge called me, and say there is a company wants you to go for interview today. Of cos I reject my friend to go out after work to go for the interview. As this job, the pay quite attractive. It pays us $7.50/hr, and if you work OT, you can claim back the cab fare. The pay is $3.50 more than what I am currenly working now. :(
To be frank, its my own will to go for this interview. Less than an hour, I had miss call from the agency again, awhile later, i go toilet to call back. Right after I call back the agency & tell them i can make it at first, on the way back to work, suddenly feel giddy, like wanna shiver de feeling. My back, near buttock there are aching, feel like vomiting, feels cold. And i began to pray & ask God to heal me, He didnt heal me immediately. So I send prayer request to people and ask them pray for me. I feel so terrible at that point of time. I also tries to drink warm water, but it didn't help at all, but rather, my body gives out sweat, its cold sweat. When my colleague ask me, "did you ask God about it. Is He really want you to get this job?" I realise its could have been God is telling me something, and I began to think, yeah, I didnt seek God for my decision for this job thing, thats why I feel so sick. I began to doubt Him, until one thing which reminds me is that one of my cell group members, which is also a brother in Christ, shares this to some of us that he experience this kind of situation also. He didnt seek God's will, the next day, he has headache. So I choose to believe that it confirm is God who wants to punish me, as I didnt seek Him, when I am making a decision and in whatever I do. And through this, I knows that GOD NEVER WILL FORSAKE US. He still chose to forgive us no matter how much we break His heart. After work, I went home to have a nap. When I woke up, I still feel so weak, muscles are pain everywhere, have slight headache, still feel very sleepy. I dare not tell my parents that I am sick, as they will not believe me and will scold me. Some lesson I learn, - ask God to help you make decisions regarding it is small or big.
- "Let your will be done and not mine."
- In the old testament, God's people disobey God, and God punish them. I am currently reading old testament, it can happen to them, it can happen to those who disobey Him too.
- Whatever thing happens, we got to PRAY!! As it is our only useful weapon!!
